Frequently Asked Questions

  • To ensure the best results from your appointment, please adhere to the following guidelines:

    • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least two weeks before and after your appointment.

    • Refrain from Botox or laser facials for a minimum of two weeks prior.

    • Please refrain from taking blood thinners (such as ibuprofen, Advil, or aspirin), alcohol, or caffeine for at least 24 hours before your appointment, as these can increase the risk of excessive bleeding.

    • If you use retinols or glycolic acids/peels, discontinue use two weeks prior to your appointment, as they may cause skin irritation.

    For Lip Blush appointments:
Exfoliate your lips the night before your appointment. If you are prone to cold sores, it is essential that you contact me directly prior to your appointment.

For Eyeliner or Lash Line Enhancement:

    • If you’ve had laser eye surgery, please wait at least six months before booking your appointment.

    • You should not have any acute or chronic eye conditions, nor have had Botox in the last two weeks.

    • Please remove your eyelash extensions at least one week before your appointment.

    • If you currently use eyelash growth serums, discontinue use at least three weeks prior to your appointment. For those using Latisse, please stop using it three months before your eyeliner procedure.

    • If you use prescription eye drops for sensitivity, dryness, or glaucoma, please inform me directly before your appointment.

I recommend familiarizing yourself with all policies, procedures, and FAQs before your appointment to ensure a smooth experience.

  • Numbing cream will be applied before and during your appointment to minimize discomfort. However, pain tolerance varies from person to person. If you are feeling nervous, you may take a Tylenol beforehand to help ease any anxiety or discomfort.

  • For all new clients, the appointment will involve creating a completely new set of eyebrows, lips, or eyeliner. Since each artist has their own unique style, covering up or correcting previous work can often be more time-consuming and challenging than starting with a fresh set.

  • Cosmetic tattooing naturally fades over time, as the pigment is designed to gradually lighten and the tattoo is not applied as deeply as traditional body tattoos. Keep in mind that everyone heals differently, and some skin may retain pigment longer than others.

However, for the eyeliner procedure, carbon-based pigments are used, which are formulated to remain in the skin for an extended period without fading.
